When it comes to late game (Khei especially) the race isn't very good and it can be argued that in Khei specifically it's nearly worthless seeing as you become more or less raceless. It isn't something that you ask the developers for.ĭespite the community always saying ''Seraph is broken'' the race itself in late game is just, bad. This could be as a developer, a contributor, or even as an influencer. The Seraph race is given only to those that the developers feel have contributed greatly to the game in some form. Thus, long-lived Seraphs will only continue to become more powerful as their mission goes on, with some even coming close to rivalling the strength of their creators. However, the true strength of a Seraph lies in their ability to be a vessel - to accumulate and stockpile things within their soul. An easy mission will yield a short-lived but vastly powerful Seraph, whereas a difficult mission will yield a long-lived but initially less powerful Seraph. Seraphs have varying strength depending on their mission. Lastiel studied under Kalvey until he died, as he had strayed from his mission too long. When he eventually travelled to Khei in order to fight Kalvey, the god of the Forge, he was unexpectedly convinced to change his ideal, and to appreciate the craftmanship of weaponry instead. However, should a Seraph stray from their mission, they will begin to disintegrate, and will perish should they avoid their duty for long enough.įor example, Lastiel, a Seraph of Amarech, was programmed with the mission to capture every weapon in the world, as weapons were merely tools of violence to Amarech. Until they accomplish this mission, they will not die so long as they strive to complete it.

This Seraph is given a mission based on the emotion felt, usually being tasked with the removal of a specific entity or the accomplishment of a certain ideal. When a god feels a strong and singular emotion, this emotion takes on their mana and coalesces and forms into a Seraph, a living entity of its own right. Most Seraphs have golden eyes, but Seraphs of Ardor have purple eyes.

Seraphs have white hair, pale skin, with eyes reflecting their god. Once they complete their mission, they become one with their god. A Seraph is a servant of a god, created only to fulfil a given mission.
